Frequently Asked Questions

Splatter on canvas
Group Fun.png

How exactly does this work?

You’ll get a canvas, paint, and protective gear, then set up in our black-lit Splatter Room. Use neon paint to splatter your canvas—and feel free to get creative with the walls, ceiling, floor, or even your friends! Your finished canvas is yours to take home.

Do I need any art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! You don’t need any art experience to join in the fun. Splatter Paints is all about creativity, play, and letting loose—no skills required. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned artist, everyone leaves with a masterpiece and a smile!

What kind of protective gear is provided?

To protect your clothes we have two options, for adults we have disposable coveralls that go from head to toe and for children we have ponchos. Everyone will be provided safety glasses and have the option to use  booties.

Is Splatter Paints safe for kids?

Yes!  We have set a minimum age of 2 years of age or older to ensure that any young children can support themselves in the paint room.

What should we wear?

Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting messy—paint is 100% washable, but splatters happen!

What's included for the price of the reservation?

We have different tiers of our splatter experience.  The standard experience provides our paint room, protective gear, 5 bottles of paint and an 8x10 canvas.  Other packages provide more paint, larger canvases and other extras.

Is the paint washable?

Yes, it is washable, though we still recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty.  The paint needs to be washed within 24-48 hours to ensure that it does not stain.

How long does the event take?

Most sessions last 40–60 minutes. This includes about 5 minutes to check in and gear up, 30–40 minutes to create your art in the Splatter Room, and time at the end to clean up and pack your masterpiece.

Are food and drinks allowed?

Food and drinks are only allowed during our private events.

Can I take my artwork home?

Absolutely!  We do have boxes for you to pack up your art in so that you can safely take it home while it's still wet.

booking and events

How do I book a session or private event?

You can book a Splatter Paints session through our website, just click the Book Now button and follow the prompts.

Do you accept walk-ins or is a reservation required?

We do accept walk-ins but reservations are recommended.  We do have a maximum capacity for each given hour and so we'd hate to have you show up and not have any spots available for that exact time.

How far in advance should I book for birthdays or bachelorette parties?

We recommend booking out these types of bookings as soon as you are ready to commit.  Our private slots are very limited so booking out early helps to ensure you get the time and date that work best for you.
